You attract the masses

Swept in a history of your own

Claimed falsely by American hands

Disintegrating the culture

To be filled with American fake smiles

Tourists running amok

Ticking of their lists

Missing the genuine

Whilst watching fake luau’s

Aloha hidden in dark corners

Waiting to be spotted

Genuine peace and love

Shared in all greetings

Americans remain skeptical

Blind to the light

Of a love of the land

A life beyond

The solitary demand of the I

I can come in many labels, many boxes, a divorcee, survivor, traveler, writer, optimist. But these labels only limit me to who I am at this point in time. But as you will read on my blog, I am my journey. I hope you will enjoy walking this path with me.
