Dubbers- #Poem #Travel

The city street shrinks around me

Couples snuggle

Unable to stand without the other

Dirt pooling in grey tarmac

Cackles dripping from lips

Old odes sing out to the cobbled city

It seeps in your bones

Daring you to love it

Challenging you to rise to it

Passion of the history

Purity of warmth

Never to leave your heart

No matter how far

You drift from this home

I can come in many labels, many boxes, a divorcee, survivor, traveler, writer, optimist. But these labels only limit me to who I am at this point in time. But as you will read on my blog, I am my journey. I hope you will enjoy walking this path with me.
